I'm a professor and consultant who leverages user-centered design thinking methodologies to help organizations, my department and individuals navigate towards innovative digital strategies.
My undergraduate was from DAAP at the University of Cincinnati where I built an award winning way to visualize ancient literature. My MFA thesis, from SCAD, focused on leveraging data visualization to improve traditional interaction models.
I have over a decade of industry experience leading teams focused on interaction design, development and product management.
In 2010, I transitioned to academia and today I spend my time teaching, helping to lead a rapidly growing department, consulting for organizations looking to create new solutions to wicked problems, raising an awesome family and changing the world.
